Mr. Shafizadeh has extensive experience representing both large institutional clients and small closely-held businesses in both state and federal courts in areas of construction law, products liability, business litigation, employment law, commercial litigation, and general liability such as premise liability and motor vehicle accidents.
Mr. Shafizadeh second-chaired a bench trial involving a hotly-contested fraud action against a broker who defrauded his client where he successfully obtained a near 7-figure judgement. He has handled countless cases from inception to conclusion including preparing and arguing dispositive motions, taking and defending deposition, and mediating difficult cases to resolution. He has obtained many favorable results for his clients through planning and implementing a legal strategy tailored to his clients’ needs and desires.
Mr. Shafizadeh externed at the Federal Defender's Office for the Eastern District of California during his law school career. As a certified student attorney, he successfully obtained a not guilty verdict for his client following a bench trial. During law school, he had the unique privilege to study Fundamental Rights in Europe and the United States, under Associate Justice Anthony Kennedy and Associate Justice Elena Kagan in Salzburg. In line with his passion for litigation, he also obtained certificates in trial advocacy and mediation.
