Lee is a partner at Rashtian Law Group. He is an experienced trial lawyer that has handled a wide variety of civil litigation matters for more than two decades. At RLG, he primarily focuses on representing the firm’s individual and corporate clients in employment, business and commercial, and personal injury matters. He handles cases on both sides of the aisle – advocating for both plaintiffs and defendants.
Lee focuses on the needs of the firm’s clients and developing the best possible strategy to achieve those needs in the most creative, efficient and economical manner possible. His vast experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants gives him an uncanny ability to understand, and often predict, his opponent’s strategy thereby giving the firm’s clients an edge in litigation.
Lee joined Rashtian Law Group because he shares the vision of his partners to provide exceptional client service to both individuals and businesses alike that need legal representation.
Lee started his legal career handling business litigation matters with the large global law firm, Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, LLP. He went on to represent large property and casualty insurers at Barger & Wolen, LLP. Lee then joined the Lanier Law Firm where he worked under esteemed trial attorney Mark Lanier in securing some of the largest national mass tort verdicts in recent history on behalf of consumers injured by defective drugs and medical devices, as well as handling business and commercial matters for individuals and businesses on a contingency basis. Lee has since focused on litigating employment, business and commercial, and personal injury matters solely in California. He was previously a partner with Brock & Gonzales, LLP before joining Rashtian Law Group.
Some of Lee’s notable trial outcomes where Lee served as trial counsel include a $3.6 million dollar jury verdict for the Plaintiff Ernie Flores in the matter of Ernie Flores v. Palo Verde Union School District, where the jury unanimously found that Mr. Flores had been wrongfully terminated and retaliated against based on national origin. Lee also was trial counsel in the matter of Maeve Kelly v. Circle K Stores, Inc., where the jury awarded $1.2 million to Plaintiff Maeve Kelly for injuries caused by a dangerous condition at a Circle K store.
Lee was also an instrumental member of Mark Lanier’s trial team charged with preparing the matter of Ingham et. al. v. Johnson & Johnson for trial where a St. Louis, Missouri jury awarded 22 women over $4.69 billion dollars in 2018.
Lee graduated from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, in 2003. He was a member of the Scott Moot Court Honors Board and also a member of the St. Thomas More Law Honor Society. Lee graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1998.
Lee is a Los Angeles native having grown up in the San Fernando Valley. When Lee is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and four kids, cooking and dining out, and keeping fit.
