Yasir Elbiali is a seasoned practicing attorney with 20+ years of experience, a core portion of which has been concentrated in the area of civil litigation. During his tenure as an Associate with an AmLaw 200 law firm and, subsequently, as a Shareholder with a well-respected boutique litigation firm in Orange County, he represented clients before state and federal courts spanning areas involving real estate, premises liability, business disputes, employment, and intellectual property.
Mr. Elbiali has taken and defended numerous depositions throughout the United States, argued dispositive motions in state and federal courts, oversaw major discovery projects, developed case strategy with his clients, supervised teams of junior associates and paralegals and participated in multiple mediations, arbitrations and settlement negotiations.
Mr. Elbiali received his LLM with Distinction from the University of London and his JD from University of California, Berkeley School of Law, where he was a member of the Moot Court Board and served on the Editorial Board of the Berkeley Journal of Labor and Employment Law. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of California Santa Barbara, where he graduated with Honors and Departmental Distinction with a degree in Political Science. Mr. Elbiali is admitted to practice in the Texas (Inactive) and California state courts, the United States District Courts for the Central, Southern, Northern and Eastern Districts of California and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Prior to joining the Rashtian Law Group, Mr. Elbiali served as in-house counsel to multiple international companies providing general commercial legal support with a particular focus on antitrust counseling and compliance.
